JAMES: Bapt. Swimbridge 31 Mar 1602, son of William & Johane (See Group C1); mar. (1) JOHANE ROSYER, Swimbridge 17 Jan 1626/7; Johane bur. Swimbridge 3 Nov 1632; (2) ELIZABETH KINGSLAND, Swimbridge 26 Oct 1633. James bur. 8 Feb 1673/4; Elizabeth bur. Swimbridge 4 May 1675. James sold a horse at Barnstaple Fair in 1628 "unto Hugh Clark of Saint Giles one black nagge with a slit in the farther eare, price 50sh. Robert Nott of Somebridge knoweth the seller." Also, "Christopher Rugge of Trimchewe sold unto James Somerwell of Sombridge one ire gray nagge stubbed under both eares, price £3. The parties know each other." (Chanter & Wainwright). James is listed in the Protestation Return 1641.

WILLIAM: Baptised Swimbridge 23 Jul 1634; buried Swimbridge 30 Mar 1671. Married SIBLEY MORRICE, Swimbridge 23 Jul 1664. No issue. Sibley buried Swimbridge 1 Nov 1674

WILLIAM: Baptised Swimbridge 7 Aug 1701 'son of William Sommerwill, als Munjoy'. Possibly married MARGRET DINIS 1724 (see also William bapt 1699 Swimbridge, Group C3). Possibly buried Swimbridge 26 Jun 1720
