• HUGH (Somerville): Purser of HMS Queen Charlotte, of Mount Pleasant near Plymouth, died 1817 (BMSI). Hugh’s will made 1816, proved 1817 Gosport. Elizabeth died earlier, buried in a vault at Alverstoke. Hugh in his will wishes to be buried with her. Was he? Is there an inscription?
• HUGH: baptised Stoke Damerel 15 Feb 1790 (IGI). Not mentioned in his father's will. Died before 1816?
• ELIZABETH: baptised Stoke Damerel 15 Feb 1790 (IGI)
• DOROTHEA: baptised Stoke Damerel 15 Feb 1790 (IGI)
• DIANA: baptised Stoke Damerel 15 Feb 1790 (IGI)

• JOHN (Somervile): Born probably c.1750; married JANE THORNTON, Stoke Damerel 1773 (Boyd). Probably John Somerville, R.N., "who was gunner of the GUARDIAN, when that ship ran foul of an island of ice on her passage to New South Wales in 1788" (O'Byrne); probably the John buried Stoke Damerel 16 Mar 1796, age 47 (DCRS Burial Register Transcript) or 14 Mar 1796, age 46 (WDRO MI Transcript).
• WILLIAM: born 3 Jul 1775; baptised 27 Jul 1775 St Charles, Plymouth; joined Royal Navy 1791; lieutenant's certificate 1798; commander 1840. For more biographical details see Naval Records. Twice married; three children
• HENRY: baptised Stoke Damerel 7 Jan 1778 (IGI)
• JOHN: baptised Stoke Damerel 7 Jan 1778 (IGI); possibly married Catherine Ivory, Stoke Damerel 1 Jan 1821
